How to replace '<' and '>' signs on html enabled articles like blogger

A friend of mine asked how to paste a code that he copied from a website to a blogspot. You simply replace the '<' sign with &lt; and the '>' sign with &gt;

For example code below, it should execute the html contents instead of displaying it
